The Textile Industry grew during the Industrial Revolution. The demand for cloth grew rapidly, so the merchants contested with others to get the suppliers to make it. The Industrial Revolution went from 1750-1850, during this time, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, transportation and technology went through big changes. Before the Industrial Revolution, the majority of people were farmers, they made most of their utilities from their land. The farming land was eventually turned into small towns and the power was supplied by humans and animals.
During the Industrial Revolution, almost every big textile industry was effected in either good, or bad ways. Mainly good because they were producing and selling more textiles than ever before. The Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain, then migrated to Western Europe, Northern America, Japan and eventually the whole World. Two people that were a major part of the Industrial revolution were; Richard Arkwright, who invented a spinning machine called the Water Frame. James Watt who enhanced the Steam Engine, it was a huge part of the revolution because it made traveling so much easier and efficient.
The impact of the Industrial Revolution was that it changed the technological world as well as the industrial world forever. The textile industry made cotton more useful, and now it is the world's most important natural fiber. in the end the Industrial Revolution (textile) increased trade around the world, because during the Industrial Revolution, everything was cheaper, so people traded more often with more supplies.
